FareShare operates Australia’s largest charity kitchen cooking 5,000 free, nutritious meals every day in Abbotsford. Their volunteer workforce includes 3,000 Victorian students each year who help fight hunger and food waste in our state.
Thanks to a community partnership with Yarra Trams, FareShare is aiming to jam a tram with rice and pasta to convert into nutritious meals. That’s 20,000 kg!
RPS is doing our share by collecting packets of uncooked rice or short-cut pasta. If you’d like to make a donation then drop off your packets in the box by Nerida’s room in the Office Reception area.
